Authentic interior of the Kristijonas Donelaitis Museum

The exposition of the museum of the 18th century Lithuanian poet Kristijonas Donelaitis is located in a building formerly owned by a pastor. This has affected the appearance of the house where the poet once worked. The interior of the room organically combines authenticity, extreme modesty of the furnishings and home comfort, which is enhanced by lighting with warm color temperature (3 000 K).

The LGD series track lighting system was chosen to illuminate the exhibits, which are located mainly around the perimeter of the museum halls. And thanks to it, several important tasks have been solved at once.

Firstly, the tracks themselves, placed along the ceiling beams, fit organically into the overall space without attracting unnecessary attention.

Secondly, the high quality of light flux of ZEUS and GELIOS luminaires allows, without straining, to look at the exhibits, the color gamut of which is not distorted, thanks to high color rendering (CRI>90).

Thirdly, track systems allow you to create lighting scenarios effortlessly, depending on your needs. Luminaires can be easily moved along the tracks, shifting light accents, to collect luminaires in groups for separate control of them within one track. ZEUS and GELIOS luminaires have a variable angle of the light beam (from 20 to 60 °) and rotatable body, which makes it possible to adjust the diameter of the light circle and change the direction of illumination.
