The Maikop brewery was founded in 1882 and is located in a historical building with rich traditions and is a historical heritage. The red brick facade with patterns characteristic of late 19th century architecture conveys the historical flavor of the brewery. The illumination of the façade was conceived to emphasize its relief features while preserving the atmosphere.
The large-scale lighting includes 436 luminaires that were installed on the façade of the factory building.
The FORMA-WALL series of luminaires with two-way up-down glow not only emphasizes the brick texture, but also provides ample illumination around the building. LED strips evenly illuminate the building's end and patterned cornices, allowing decorative elements to be highlighted even in the dark.
Linear spotlights series AR-LINE create a continuous illumination between the windows with a uniform glow. The beveled corner of the building, where the main entrance is located, is also illuminated with linear spotlights that emphasize the architectural features of the building.
The project used lighting sources with a warm white glow, which best emphasizes the color of the brick walls.
Automatic control of architectural lighting is a functional, ergonomic and economical solution. Automation is especially relevant for large-scale projects, because it eliminates the human factor in the operation of lighting and increases the reliability and stability of the equipment.
Modern systems based on digital protocols DALI/KNX allow you to make flexible system settings: from simple automatic switching on all the lighting on a schedule to complex scenario combinations. Illuminance sensors will help to automatically adjust the time of switching on the exterior lighting in case of cloudy weather and early twilight, the use of astronomical data will not have to worry about manually changing the schedule depending on the length of daylight. Intelligent lighting systems will help free up labor resources for the functions that really matter.
