An effective and simple solution was used to decorate the fitness and health center of Kyshtym Copper Electrolyte Plant - contoured facade illumination using LED strips. Strict lines of white color of cold shade emphasized the sporting character of the institution, creating a sense of purposefulness and resilience.
For the main contours of the building was used LED tape with bright super-cold shades of glow 10 000 K, the color temperature close to the light of a clear northern sky. This allowed to distinguish the FOC against the background of the evening urban landscape.
Multicolored ornament of the decorative element of the building is highlighted by a double light line of cold white shade of glow 6 000 K, which provided good visibility of the recognizable colored element, including in the dark.
For the architectural illumination, tapes designed for 230 W power supply were selected, which made it possible to do without installing power supply units on the facade. An aluminum profile with an opal screen was used for soft diffusion and additional protection of the strip.
Installation of such a large-scale architectural illumination was carried out in a record time of a week in order to be in time for the opening of the facility on the main holiday of the city - the Metallurgist's Day.

Architectural illumination is only relevant at night, so often automated systems are used to control outdoor lighting. The DALI digital protocol, originally developed for lighting control, meets all the challenges of architectural lighting automation. The equipment supporting DALI is flexibly configurable: switching on and off, as well as dimming, can be carried out on a user-defined schedule and in different areas of illumination. The use of light sensors will automatically adjust the time of switching on the backlight in cloudy weather. Smart control of outdoor lighting is a modern and economical solution that does not depend on the human factor.
