Our company carried out a project of facade illumination of a building near the TV center in the North-Eastern District of Moscow. LED lighting was installed on the roof of the building, along its perimeter and directed downward, illuminating its facade. To create a facade lighting used a powerful LED strip Arlight and installed in a wide aluminum profile.
To protect against atmospheric influences: rain, snow, dust and others - the profile has a screen that covers the LED strip. To avoid moisture ingress through small cracks, all joints and holes have been sealed. Power supply units for LED strips were brought out in a separate electrical panel.
As with any lighting based on LED strips, architectural lighting has a function of changing brightness. Control of backlighting is from wall panels or remote-control panels with the connection of a dimmer, which provides the ability to adjust the brightness of the light. The flexibility of control of LED lighting makes it a popular solution for the realization of a variety of projects.
