The design of the food court of the shopping center “Sigma” is made in the spirit of aviation romance. The designers tried to give the space a special atmosphere that reigns in airports, when time stands still in the streams of hurrying passengers. Many details refer visitors to air ports, airfields and airplanes. The floor markings are designed in the form of runways, the niches of the alcoves resemble an airplane cabin, and the walls are decorated with stylized views from portholes.
Stylish food court spaces can be used as photo zones. Separated by a yellow lattice screen, the cozy area attracts attention with contrasting yellow and blue colors, original chairs resembling luggage carts and bright neon lettering. Another interesting place is a two-level podium made in rich blue color with a light installation in the form of an airplane. The light design complements local interiors favorably, giving them a finished look.
While colored light is used for decorative lighting, neutral white 4,000 K was chosen for the main lighting. Daylight is invigorating, promotes concentration and reduces fatigue. Therefore, such lighting is most often used in airports. Perfectly suitable for lighting shopping centers.
On the basis of LED strips of daylight shade of white and aluminum profile created suspended linear lights. And to soften the strict lines and add more light, created wavy installations of flexible neon, something reminiscent of clouds. Small models of airplanes, suspended from the ceiling, as if emerging from the stylized “clouds”, further enhance the resemblance to the sky.
Lighting control in such facilities, where there are many zones and light sources that must be controlled separately, it is convenient to customize on the basis of DALI protocols. Dimmers, controllers, converters and amplifiers of DALI signal will allow you to adjust the brightness of backlighting and control the color of the glow. It is possible to set up automatic scenarios in different zones. Stylish wall-mounted control panels fit into any interiors and are comfortable in operation.
