The lighting was a harmonious addition to the laconic interior of the Art Pool sports complex. The lighting fixtures of different geometric shapes fit in well with the overall concept, while enlivening and lightening the space.
The centerpiece of the sports complex is the swimming pool, located in a high-ceilinged room with open communications. Multiple pendant luminaires based on ROUND profiles with a circular cross-section and 360° luminescence and LED strips were used for the lighting. The brightly glowing cylinders stand out against the dark ceilings, accentuating the light. Their reflections in the glossy water surface create more volume and airiness. Matte diffusing screens avoid glare, creating a pleasant soft glow.
LED strip lights can have advanced control options. If there is a dimmer, they support not only on/off, but also change the brightness of the glow. And modern lighting control equipment based on protocols TUYA, DALI, KNX, allows you to include light control in the overall system of intelligent building management.
The theme of cylinders is repeated in other areas of the complex: the reception area and the cafe. Here the task of the main lighting is solved with the help of RONDO surface-mounted luminaires in black cylindrical housing. And local illumination above the tables is provided by PIPE TRACK HANG track luminaires, again made in the form of long cylinders.
Track-based solutions are often used in spaces where accent lighting with quick control is required. The luminaires can be moved along the tracks, making it easy to create the right level of illumination in a specific location.
Balancing the cylindrical theme, the interior also utilizes linear and ring luminaires. In general, light sources of different series were used in the project: INTENSO, CYCLONE, GERA, PIPE and RONDO.
