Lighting in the childrens library

The Central Children's Library has acquired a new look, which was built, among other things, thanks to a large-scale lighting project. For the original fantasy illumination, the project used a large number of LED strips of different glow colors.

The reading room, where the main element of design is wood, is illuminated by soft warm diffused light passing through the volumetric wooden structure on the ceiling. The false windows are equipped with backlighting, which creates the effect of natural light penetrating into the room. The hall at the reading room is illuminated by round overhead luminaires emitting diffused light and decorative linear luminaires based on colored LED tape.

The central open space of the library - the hall, several floors high, looks even more spectacular thanks to the lighting: soft diffused light inside caissons on the ceiling, as well as ceilings with wooden structures, through which the light shines, repeated on each of the floors, as if framing it. Glass fences and even cachepots with indoor plants are illuminated here.

In the corridors as the main lighting is used ceiling lighting, which repeats the contours of the room and niches in the ceiling, and evenly illuminates the space inside them. In addition, tracks with LED luminaires and small pendant lights in the form of rings are used as additional lighting.

The lighting is controlled by controllers and remote controls. The multi-zone remote control supports lighting control separately in four zones, which is convenient for a project with multi-level lighting. This allows you to create a variety of lighting scenarios, which is especially important for children's spaces. The glow color is selected with a touch ring, and you can start one of the three stored user settings at the touch of a button.
