The Zheleznodorozhnikov Cultural Center in Yekaterinburg gathered several different spaces under its roof: a library, a dance studio, a children's center, a folk theater and a fine arts studio. The unifying element for all the spaces was the lighting.
The architectural features of the building were fundamental to the choice of lighting. High ceilings with multiple overlapping determined the suspended method of mounting the luminaires. The choice of 4,000 K color temperature was motivated by the need to create an invigorating working atmosphere.
In the library, suspended luminaires based on LED strips and SL LINE profiles balance the ceiling slabs. In a stylish black color, they create a clear geometry. TOR PILL PRISM round luminaires bring playful motifs into the interior, bringing back the idea that the space is organized for children.
In the lobby of the children's center, white luminaires of different sizes RONDO rhyme with round decorative panels on the ceiling, creating a light, relaxed atmosphere so suitable for children's spaces. Thanks to the opal screen, which softly diffuses the light, a comfortable glow is created.
The dance studio is equipped with linear profile luminaires with a suspended mounting method. The matte screen softens the light flux from bright LEDs, which creates a uniformly illuminated space without blinding effect, convenient for dance classes.
In the folk studio of fine arts named after Y. K. Kiselev the same linear pendant lights are used, but in white color. They seem to continue the theme of overlapping ceilings, but thanks to the white color do not overload the interior.
The auditorium of the People's Drama Theater named after G.E. Getsov is decorated in white. G.E. Getsov People's Drama Theater is decorated with interesting decorative chandeliers.
