Modern temple design increasingly uses non-standard lighting solutions to convey the special atmosphere of a place.
The temple of the Smolensk icon of the Mother of God “Odigitria” in the village of Morskoye, built according to the Old Russian tradition from logs, creates a feeling of coziness and tranquility. The highlight of this temple is the iconostasis separating the altar from the rest of the temple.
The design of the iconostasis is quite unusual. In the patterned forged frame are inserted icons, which are neatly illuminated along the contour. The illumination is made in warm color of glow (2700 K), which creates the effect of calming sunlight at sunset and perfectly combines with wooden surfaces. Light tulle of white and blue colors gives the iconostasis airiness and associates it with the sky. This solution also does not visually overload the small space of the temple, preserving its harmony.
Lines of light are created on the basis of a narrow LED tape series RT, thin profile and matte screen, softly dispersing the light flow.
The brightness of such illumination can be adjusted, dimming the glow or making it brighter when necessary, using a dimmer series SMART. The dimmer allows you to connect up to 8 control devices, such as panels and remote controls, which can be placed at different points in the room for quick access.
