In the theater hall, in addition to the basic lighting in the classic style, it was decided to add LED lighting of the stairs. This solution harmonized with the interior, while increasing the safety of the auditorium.
For the implementation of backlighting was used aluminum profile, in which the LED strip is installed. From above the structure is covered with a matte screen, which is necessary to protect the tape and more uniform its glow.
Since the height of the steps is small, but they are quite wide it was decided to place the profile not in the upper part of the ends of the steps, but in the center. This arrangement gives more light to the next step, and not only indicates the presence of a rise.
For automatic control of staircase illumination, a convenient solution is a staircase controller. In the theater illumination of stairs is needed for all the time of the audience in the hall and the controller is not relevant here. But, for example, in a private home, hotel and other places where the passage at night is not very large, stair controller can turn on the backlight only when approaching a person. Automatic control of lighting steps and railings significantly saves energy and is an interesting highlight of the interior. It is controlled by motion sensors installed at the beginning and end of the stairwell. The setting of lighting control is very flexible - you can program on/off simultaneously all steps or step-by-step, as well as the speed of switching modes.
