Illumination in the Tilsit Peace Museum

The Tilsit Peace Museum presents an exposition immersing visitors in the Empire era. The luxurious interior of the museum consists of works of art, furniture, household items and decorative elements belonging to this time.

Modern lighting is carefully and unobtrusively integrated into the atmosphere of the Napoleonic era palace, allowing you to scrutinize every detail of the exposition, but without disturbing the overall impression of antiquity.

GELIOS track lights in white color almost merge with the ceiling without distracting attention from the main thing. The tracks on pendants look light, while continuing the geometry set by the decor of walls and furniture.

The choice of lighting fixtures is the result of thoughtful decisions. Lighting in the museum should meet high requirements - to provide comfortable perception, not to distort the color palette of exhibits, and also be mobile enough to quickly change the light scenarios of the space. Three-phase track system of LGD series with GELIOS luminaires solves these tasks 100%.

High color rendering index of luminaires (CRI>90) creates a light environment close to natural light, so all shades of the surrounding world are perceived by a person as fully as possible. Colors are not distorted, and the burden on vision is reduced. Warm white shade of glow emphasizes the luxury of gold and naturalness of wooden objects, creates a special coziness in the space of the museum.

Three-phase track systems allow you to control lighting scenarios in the room easily and quickly. In addition to the fact that the luminaires can be easily moved along the tracks, they can be organized into groups and controlled (on/off) groups separately. The luminaires themselves have an adjustable angle of the light beam (from 20 to 60°) and 350° rotatable housing, which allows you to clearly highlight the accents in the exposition both on the walls and located below.
