Bright individual design interior in the apartment was realized using modern LED technology. Multicolor LED tape used to illuminate different areas allowed to create a light and cheerful mood.
The tape was used for contour illumination of the ceiling, various wall niches, bed podium, different areas in the kitchen. In general, such LED lighting gave the interior airiness and transparency, visually expanding the space.
During the project, thanks to our consultants have been solved several problems that arose during the initial installation of equipment.
Initially, the power supply was incorrectly selected. Instead of several small power supplies, one powerful one was installed. To effectively cool the powerful units, they are equipped with coolers that are noisy, which is not acceptable in residential areas. As a result, a special niche in the corridor was created to accommodate the power supply unit, which has a hood and noise insulation.
The project used a glossy ceiling, and the LED strip was mounted under it. As a consequence - the reflection of the LED strip in the glossy surface of the canvas. It was decided to mount the tape on an aluminum profile with a diffusing screen. This solution not only favorably affected the appearance of the backlight, but also allowed to extend the life of the tape, as the screen protects the LEDs from dust, and aluminum is an excellent natural heat sink.
The multi-zone backlighting required a sophisticated lighting control design. To maximize comfort, a multi-zone remote control was used, which allows the lighting to be controlled separately in 10 different zones from a single device. The stylish, laconic remote control has a convenient touch ring for selecting the color of the light, as well as supports the functions of changing the brightness, on and off. It has 4 control channels - RGB + W - and can be used both for RGB tapes and RGBW tapes with a dedicated white channel.
At the customer's request, the ceiling lighting in the living room had to respond to music, for which a special color and music controller was selected. The controller, paired with a radio remote control, can control the RGB LED strip in accordance with the rhythm and tempo of music.
At the end of the project, we can state that we got a modern, functional, comfortable to manage the interior, taking into account all the wishes of the customer.
