The lighting design of the home theater provides for a multi-level lighting system. One of the light sources and at the same time a kind of art object in the described project are panels with wide lines of light, for the creation of which was chosen multi-row tape Arlight with a board width of 36 mm. Due to the high density of LEDs on the tape creates a uniform bright illumination, and a matte screen made of polycarbonate contributes to soft dispersion and avoids the effect of visible points of LEDs. The screen is supplied complete with a profile, which is very convenient and saves time in selecting the appropriate option.
The tape is mounted on an aluminum profile painted white, which fits perfectly into the project. Its lines successfully emphasize the geometry of the panels, even when the illumination is switched off. In addition to the decorative function of the profile avoids excessive heating of a sufficiently powerful tape and extend the life of LEDs.
Backlighting panels in a home theater performs more of a decorative function, but can also be used as additional lighting. Therefore, it was important to be able to adjust the brightness of the light. The light is controlled by a dimmer switch, which allows you to turn the backlight on/off and smoothly change the level of illumination using a remote control or control panel.
