On the territory of the thermal complex with the same name there is a cozy boutique hotel VODA. The architectural solution of the building is gently integrated into the surrounding natural space. The dark gray horizontal masonry facade paired with vertical panels looks neat and restrained, allowing nature to remain in the foreground. The reflection of the trees in the large panoramic windows creates an illusion of interconnection between the interior and exterior spaces.
The interior concept of the hotel is based on the inspiration of the water element in its various manifestations. And a significant moment in the realization of the designers' brilliant idea was the lighting.
The hotel lobby is enveloped in various textures of water. Upon entering, guests feel like they are on the shore of a lake on a bright sunny day. The accent light from LGD LOFT TRACK track luminaires creates the illusion of sun glare on the water surface. Track systems are extremely easy to operate. Due to the mobility of the luminaires themselves when moving along the tracks and the flexibility of adjustment, it is possible to create a variety of lighting scenarios by shifting the light accents in the desired direction. Three-phase tracks allow you to control both individually each luminaire and groups of luminaires at once.
The interior of the cafe, designed in a moderate gray scale, draws attention to the ceiling. Here, with the help of an installation of transparent mesh fabric and accent light, the illusion of floating morning fog is created.
On the stairs, visitors are greeted by a “thunderstorm”: an original light fixture made of metal pipes and elongated cylindrical light sources resembles lead clouds through which sunlight breaks through. Imitation of rain streams gives the composition majesty.
Corridors are filled with intense violet light, which immerses into an unreal world. For easy navigation, guest rooms are illuminated with ZEUS track lights for accent lighting.
Each hotel room is dedicated to one of the seven water elements. The interior of each room is themed accordingly. In some rooms, it is the lighting that plays a key role in creating the atmosphere. Guests can choose a calm design in the rooms “Fog”, “Snow”, “Stil” or more extravagant. For example, the rooms “Typhoon” are decorated with RGB LED tape in a bold purple-orange color scheme, creating a sense of impending storm at the end of the day. And in the rooms “Thunderstorm” illusion of sparkling lightning creates a flexible neon, stretched across the entire space.
Lighting control at such facilities is effectively realized on the basis of KNX protocol, integrating into the general building management system. Multifunctional control panels allow controlling lights in different zones, air conditioning and security systems, curtains and blinds, multimedia. Stylish push-button panels with tactilely pleasant coating fit perfectly into any interior of the rooms, can be set up for single control of devices, different lighting zones or preconfigured scenario control.
